Permitted Uses:

Same as I-3 (Heavy Industrial Restricted); plus hazardous waste facility; nuclear power generating facility; nuclear waste disposal sites. All uses shall be defined in accordance with the "Hazardous Waste Management Plan" of the State of Louisiana as it may be amended from time to time, and the land use suitability as defined in the "United States Department of the Interior Geological Survey" (edition 1968).

Permitted as Exceptions by Board of Adjustment:

Parking lots for business uses within 300 feet of district boundary; hospitals.

Permitted Signs:

Business signs not over 120 square feet.

Lot Requirements (subject to Louisiana State Sanitary Code, Chapter 13):

Permissible floor areas, lot areas, height of buildings, and yard or buffer requirements shall be established by the department of planning and development and implemented through the development permit process.
