SCHEDULE OF ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS |
Zoning District A-1 (Agricultural—Floodprone, Marginal Land).
Permitted Uses:
Land use activities that are compatible with and otherwise do not increase or present undue hazard potential to either individuals, personal property, or to the environment due to in part the seasonal, occasional, or frequent flooding by water; including livestock grazing; pasture forage production; aquaculture (fish/crayfish farming); public and private forests and wild game reservations; outdoor recreational facilities; extractions (including borrowpits).
Permitted as Exceptions by Board of Adjustment:
Railroads; temporary commercial amusements or recreational developments; farm related buildings; boat houses; docks; private camp structures; and public buildings or land uses to support public safety, recreational, and utility service activities.
Permitted Signs:
Public safety and information, private business signs not over 12 square feet (allowed on privately owned property only (one sign per acre lot).
Maximum Floor Area:
None.
Maximum Height of Main Building:
35 feet.
Lot Requirements (subject to Louisiana State Sanitary Code, Chapter 13):
Minimum Lot Area: One acre.
Front Yard: 50 feet.
Side Yard: Total: 20% of lot width. One yard: 20 feet.
Rear Yard: Total: 20% of lot depth. Not required to exceed 25 feet.
