  • Permitted Uses:

    Single-family dwellings (one per 7,500 square foot lot); single-unit mobile homes rental spaces (one per lot); travel trailer rental spaces (one per lot); private gardens; home occupations; private garages; accessory uses (park office; park utilities: electric, water, [and] sewage facilities; laundromat; convenience store); and parks and playgrounds and facilities in conjunction therewith.

    Permitted as Exceptions by Board of Adjustment:

    Temporary commercial amusements or recreational developments; temporary buildings used in connection with construction; personal service shops.

    Permitted Signs:

    Business signs not over 6 square feet.

    Maximum floor area:

    None.

    Maximum Height of Main Building:

    50 feet.

    Lot Requirements (subject to Louisiana State Sanitary Code, Chapter 13):

    Minimum lot area: 5,000 square feet for mobile home park; 3,000 square feet for travel trailer park.

    Front yard: 20 feet.

    Side yard: Minimum 10 feet.

    Rear yard: 20% of lot depth. Not required to exceed 25 feet.
