§ 4. Functions of the [parish council].

It shall be the duty of the St. Martin Parish [Council] to receive, evaluate and decide affirmatively or negatively on petitions for zoning amendments after receiving a report and recommendations resulting from a public hearing. This report and recommendation will come from the planning commission.
