§ 1. Parish council to serve as board of zoning adjustment.

In the implementation of the zoning ordinance of St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, there shall be no separate and distinct advisory or administrative board known as the board of zoning adjustment. Rather, the St. Martin Parish Council shall serve as the board of zoning adjustment. Therefore, wherever in the zoning ordinance for St. Martin Parish reference is made to the board of zoning adjustment or board of adjustment, it shall mean the St. Martin Parish Council sitting in such capacity.
