§ 12-2. Unauthorized tampering with fire hydrants.

(a)

No person shall use, tamper with, damage in any way, break the seal on, connect anything to, or turn on any fire hydrants without the consent of the parish council and the owner and/or the person who has the responsibility for the operation and maintenance of said hydrants.

(b)

This section shall not apply in the case of emergency when the fire hydrants are used for the sole purpose of fighting fires.
