§ 1-8. St. Martin-St. Mary Parish boundaries.
By resolution of this parish council dated March 15, 1955 C. Howard Fenstermaker Jr., C. E., was authorized and appointed to work with a civil engineer for St. Mary Parish, Louisiana to establish the boundary line existing between the Parishes of St. Martin and St. Mary, and it having been shown that the said C. Howard Fenstermaker Jr. and T. F. Kramer, Civil Engineer representing St. Mary Parish have conducted survey in accordance with the hereinabove described resolution and have prepared proces verbal of survey of parish line between St. Martin and St. Mary Parishes, Louisiana dated October 8, 1958, that this proces verbal , and the plats prepared in connection therewith dated July 1957 shall be, and the same are hereby, approved and ratified by the parish council as showing the correct boundary line existing between the Parishes of St. Martin and St. Mary in the area defined on the plats and in the proces verbal. The hereinabove described proces verbal with the attached plats be filed in the public records of the parish, together with a copy of this section, all in accordance with law.

Note— The parish has in its records a copy of Ordinance Number 596, passed October 13, 1954, by the St. Mary Parish Council providing for the establishment of their common boundary line commencing at Charenton Beach on the east side of Bayou Tech in the Parish of St. Mary at the termination of the Beach Road on said Beach on April 18, 1955.
