§ 20-3. Special license for coin-operated amusement machines.

Every person allowing or permitting the operation of coin-operated amusement machines in his establishment shall obtain annually a license permitting such operation from the sheriff and ex officio tax collector. The fee for said license shall be $50.00 per machine per year. The license for each coin-operated amusement machine shall be obtained prior to January 1 of each year. Any renewal after March 1 of any year shall be deemed delinquent and an additional $5.00 fee per machine shall be collected. Any individual applying for the initial issuance of a license after January 1 but prior to June 30 of each year shall pay the full license fee. Any individual applying for the initial issuance of a license after June 30 but prior to December 31 of any year shall pay one-half the license fee.
