§ 20-118. Intent.

It is the intent of this article to authorize charitable organizations, as defined herein, to conduct bingo, keno or pull tabs games; to define a charitable organization for the purpose of issuing licenses to conduct such games; to require the appropriate nonprofit designation from the Internal Revenue Service before a license can be issued; to include pull tabs in the definition of charitable games of chance and to provide for prohibited practices related thereto; and to provide for related matters.
