§ 24-106. Developments governed.
(a)
The following developments and properties are governed by this article: logging, asphalt and concrete batching plants, any type of borrow pit (sand, gravel, clay, dirt), dumping pits, scrap and salvage yards (junk yards, crusher yards), landfills, waste transfer stations, waste pickup stations, disposal facilities, incinerators, wrecker yards, and pipe yards, and any property (including residential properties) on which lies sufficient junk accumulation that it is deemed to be endangering the public's health, safety, or welfare.
(b)
Land used solely for agricultural purposes as defined in section 24-1 is specifically exempted from this article.
