§ 28-73. Commission powers.

The commissioners shall have all the powers and privileges granted and conferred by the Constitution and statutes of the state during their respective terms of office and until their successors are duly appointed and have qualified. Upon the expiration of the term of office of any commissioner, this parish council shall appoint a successor for a term of five years.
