§ 2-4. Recordation fee.

The parish council requires the clerk of court for the parish to levy an additional $5.00 registration and recordation charge for any document filed in the mortgage and conveyance records and an additional $15.00 charge for filing and recording adoptions, successions, and any other new civil suits. The clerk of court for the parish is authorized to retain five percent of such additional charges for administration expenses.
