§ 32-6. Policy in regard to fences.

It shall be the policy of the parish when widening roads or improving drainage channels that the parish designated official or employee shall check the existing fence to determine the condition of the fence, and in fact, if the fence exists, the jury will reconstruct the fence and will replace the fence in as good or better condition as it was, and the parish will furnish the material required and the property owners are to be contacted prior to the reconstruction of the fence.
