A person who knowingly violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with or resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not less than $100.00 nor more than $500.00, or imprisonment in the parish jail for a period of not more than 30 days, or both. Each day the violation is committed, or permitted to continue, shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punished as such.
