§ 36-45. Industrial waste.

(a)

The person generating industrial waste (as defined herein) shall be responsible for the storage, collection, transportation and disposal of these wastes in accordance with the regulations of the applicable regulatory agencies and the provisions of this article.

(b)

All persons who engage in the business of collecting or transporting industrial solid wastes for the purpose of disposing of such wastes shall be licensed for such activity by the parish, providing that he shall meet the qualifications and pay the fee as set forth herein under section 36-43.
