§ 40-2. Authority.

These subdivision regulations are adopted under the authority granted by the provisions of R.S. 33:101-33:119 as amended. The planning commission has fulfilled the requirements set forth in these statutes as prerequisite to the adoption of such regulations, whereas said laws require the planning commission to adopt regulations governing the subdivision of land within its jurisdiction for purposes other than agricultural.
