§ 40-165. Common terms.

Certain words and terms are defined as follows:
(1)

Words used in the present tense include the future; words in the singular number include the plural; words in the plural number include the singular; and the word "shall" is mandatory.

(2)

The term "commission" means the planning commission of St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.

(3)

The term "parish governing body" means the Parish Council of St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.
