§ 4-12. Parish council to furnish sheriff with forms; handling of funds.

The parish council shall annually provide the sheriff and ex officio tax collector with the necessary blanks and/or forms. The sheriff shall account to the treasurer of the parish each month and shall remit to him the amount collected pursuant to this chapter. The treasurer shall deposit the sums thus received in the general fund of the parish.
