§ 4-6. Probationary permit issuance or renewal.

  • (a)

    Any permit issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be on a probationary basis for a period of 60 days during which time said permit may be summarily revoked by the sheriff upon discovery of facts tending to establish that the applicant is not possessed of the requisite qualifications therefor.

    (b)

    All renewals of permit granted hereunder shall be made on a probationary basis for a period of 30 days after the granting of such renewal during which time said permit may be revoked by the sheriff upon discovery of facts tending to establish that the permittee is not possessed of the requisite qualifications therefor or if the applicant is then in violation of any law relating to the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors or permitting minors to frequent a place where alcoholic beverages are sold.
