Article III. PERMITS FOR OTHER ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES |
§ 4-72. Permit and fee required.
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of retailing and/or selling package goods of distilled, spirituous, vinous, malt, cereal and/or other liquors or beverages containing any alcoholic content of more than one-half of one percent by volume, without first applying for and obtaining from the sheriff or ex officio tax collector of the parish an annual written permit and annually paying to the sheriff and tax collector for said business the sum of $225.00.
