All applications for permits for the sale of alcoholic beverages from their containers
for sale or consumption on the premises, or if the applicant's business is to be conducted
wholly or partly by one or more managers, agents, employees or other representatives,
then, in such event, the said manager, agent, employee or representative shall be
domiciled in, and a bona fide resident of, the parish for a continuous period of six
months immediately preceding the date of said application; except that this residence
requirement shall not apply to the renewal of permits previously issued hereunder.
