§ 6-41. Steel leg hold traps prohibited.

Steel leg hold traps are banned in St. Martin Parish, except as permitted by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and/or their agents to remove dangerous or nuisance animals or as otherwise permitted by state law. Any person using steel leg traps unlawfully shall be fined $50.00 for each offense.
