§ 12-59. Equipment purchases, leases, etc.

(a)

The steering committee shall recommend to the parish council the necessary firefighting equipment to be purchased, leased or rented for all of the organized fire departments of the parish.

(b)

The steering committee shall make all recommendations towards all purchases and repairs, which shall be paid from fire-general. All purchases and repairs shall then be made per the parish council purchasing procedure.
