§ 12-58. Vacancies.

(a)

Should a vacancy occur among the members of the steering committee, the individual fire department affected thereby, after an election, as outlined in section 12-56, will present a name to the parish council with a recommendation that they appoint the named individual to the committee to fill the unexpired term.

(b)

Should a vacancy occur among the officers of the steering committee, the unexpired term will be filled at the next regular meeting of the steering committee by election among the members of the steering committee.
