§ 26-1. Fortune-telling, palmistry, etc.
(a)
No person shall engage in the practices of fortune-telling, palm reading, the reading of tea leaves, the telling of fortunes by cards and all other methods of palmistry and fortune-telling, for money or other consideration.
(b)
Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this section shall pay a fine of not less than $100.00 nor more than $500.00 and/or shall be subject to imprisonment for not less than ten nor more than 60 days.
