§ 26-2. Trespass.
(a)
No person shall hunt on any lands or waters within the parish without first obtaining approval from the owner or lessee, or the authorized agent or representative of such owner or lessee.
(b)
No person shall otherwise enter upon or use any enclosed lands or waters within the parish which are posted against trespassing by legible signs at the main entrances which designate the owner's, lessee's, agent's or representative's name, address and telephone number, and by legible signs warning against trespassing at least every one-quarter mile along the boundaries.
(c)
No person shall otherwise enter upon or use any unenclosed lands or waters within the parish which are posted against trespassing by legible signs along the boundaries at least one-half mile apart which designate the owner's, lessee's, agent's or representative's name, address and telephone number, and by legible signs warning against trespassing at least every one-quarter mile along the boundaries, with at least one visible painted boundary marker between each such sign; provided that this section shall not apply to fishing and crawfishing, and trapping fur-bearing animals. The person doing same shall be licensed under the applicable Louisiana law.
(d)
No person shall remain on lands within the parish when his presence thereon is not authorized by the owner or lessee, or their authorized agent or representative, after being instructed to leave by someone in such capacity; provided that this section shall not apply to fishing and crawfishing and trapping fur-bearing animals. The person doing same shall be licensed under the applicable Louisiana law.
(e)
In the prosecution for the violation of this section, proof of ownership, lease, agency or representation, and proof of the location of property and the limits thereof, may be made by parole evidence.
(f)
Whoever shall violate this section shall upon conviction be fined not more than $100.00 or imprisoned for not more than 90 days, or both.
(g)
It shall be unlawful for any person to intentionally post lands or waters within the parish that he does not own or is not authorized to post by the legal owner.
