§ 26-5. Same—On Butte La Rose Landing.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle, trailer, aircraft or movable object of any sort within that area running 230 feet along the bank of the Lower Atchafalaya River, by a depth of 100 feet from the water's edge, commonly known as the Butte La Rose Landing located in Section 7, Township 9 South, Range 8 East of the parish and more fully shown by the revised plat by C. H. Fenstermaker attached to and made a part of the ordinance upon which the section is derived; provided, however, that this section shall not be construed to prohibit loading and unloading.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to tie up, anchor or in any way secure any boat, ship, aircraft or watercraft of any kind to the bank of the Lower Atchafalaya River in an area running 50 feet wide along the banks of the Lower Atchafalaya River at the landing commonly known as the Butte La Rose Landing directly in line with the parish road commonly known as Carter's Landing Road, except that boats, ships and other watercraft are hereby permitted to tie up to or anchor in such area solely to permit loading and unloading.
