§ 30-22. Members.

The parish planning commission shall consist of nine members appointed by the parish council, who may remove any member of the commission, after public hearing, for inefficiency, neglect of duty or malfeasance in office. Members of the commission shall serve without compensation and shall hold no other public office. The members shall be appointed for terms of five years. If a vacancy occurs otherwise than by expiration of term, it shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term.
