§ 28-4. Same—Butte La Rose channel.

(a)

Restrictions for boat traffic. In order to prevent additional damage to property that would be caused by wave action from boats passing at high rates of speed, the speed of boat traffic in the designated danger area, Butte La Rose Channel, is hereby reduced to no-wake speed.

(b)

Danger area. Notice of said designation shall be posted in said area in such a manner that the general public will be aware of the restrictions on boat traffic.

(c)

Penalty. Any person violating this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction may be fined $200.00, or sentenced to serve 30 days in the parish jail, or both.
